Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman holds a distinguished chair in psychology at the University of California Davis and is the Director of its Center for Public Policy Research. She has been widely recognized for her pioneering work in studying witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory in the legal setting. Professor Goodman published widely and has won several grants and has received numerous international and national awards. She has consulted with various nations and organizations around the world regarding policies as well as the study of children's victimization within the court system. She serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has been a member of numerous professional organizations, which include that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association.
